Some work begins with a brief. Some begins with a question that has no client yet — only a conviction that the answer is worth making.

The journey of investigation is where the juice is.

This page documents both. It is a record of what is in motion: commissions in development, series being tested in the kiln, site-specific concepts in early dialogue, and longer ambitions that are shaping the direction of the studio over the next several years. Not everything here has a completion date. Some of it is deliberately open — held as possibility rather than plan.

The practice has always operated at two scales simultaneously. At one end, the singular object — a vessel, a form, a piece made for a specific space and no other. At the other, the environment: the commission that asks not what a single object can do, but what a body of work can do to a room, a corridor, a dining floor, a lobby. It is this second scale — the architectural, the immersive, the considered — that increasingly defines where the studio is heading.

If something on this page speaks to a space you are building, curating, or designing, the conversation is welcome at any stage. The earlier the better. The best commissions begin before the walls are up.
