Anchoring the space
The vessel functions as a bodily analogy: defined by interior and exterior, containment and vulnerability. Firing is not simply a technical stage but a threshold at which material identity is irreversibly altered. What enters the kiln and what emerges are not the same thing.
I am interested in the moment where form acquires presence — when an object exceeds its utility and begins to assert itself spatially and psychologically. That is the work I am trying to make.
