THE WORK

Clay, wood and fire. Three elemental forces, one object.

Vast majority of the pieces in this gallery are wood or gas fired in a kiln — surfaces shaped by flame and time rather than by the potter's finishing hand. The ceramic form is in some cases then paired with a bespoke base in Black Walnut, White Oak, or Cherry, hand-carved to complement the specific weight and surface character of its ceramic counterpart.

Clay above, wood below, meeting at a single seam. Each material remembers how it was made. Together they hold a presence neither could reach alone.

These works are conceived for architectural and interior environments. They do not decorate a space. They anchor it.
