THE WORK

Wood and fire. Two elemental forces, one object.

Each piece in this series is wood-fired in a train kiln — surfaces shaped by flame, carbon, and time rather than by the potter's finishing hand. The ceramic form is then paired with a bespoke base in Maple, White Oak, or Cherry, hand-carved to complement the specific weight and surface character of its ceramic counterpart.

Wood meets clay at a single threshold. Both materials carry the memory of their making. Together they form something neither could be alone — an object with mass, presence, and a quiet authority that holds its ground in any space it enters.

These works are conceived for architectural and interior environments. They do not decorate a room. They anchor it.
